Box Tops--DUE FEB 7

There are only two dates that we can turn in Box Tops. One in November and One in March. Please continue to turn them in, but if you are saving them please turn them in by Feb 7 so they can go on this upcoming count. The money earned for the box tops goes directly to the teacher's classroom your child is in*.  Please DO NOT staple the box tops to the paper, as each box top has to be cut out with no excess around the rectangle as shown below. If you can take a few minutes and clean your box tops that would save our PTA volunteers many hours of work.

*I always do half for one teacher and then the other half between my two students so the teachers get equal amount from my household.

It is important that we obtain an accurate list of all children qualifying for kindergarten in the Jordan
School District for the 20152016 school year.

We need to report this information to the district by January 25th. If you have a child that will be five years of age on or before September 1, 2015, the child qualifies for next year’s kindergarten program. State law requires that all school districts in Utah abide by the same September 1st entrance cut off date. You will be required to provide the
child’s immunization record and a certified birth certificate.

This year kindergarten registration will be completed online.  If you would prefer a paper copy of the registration, one can be picked up in the office. Please share this information with any neighbors you may have with a qualifying
kindergartner.

Please contact Midas Creek Elementary if you have any questions at 801-254-7407
Office hours are from 8:30am to
4:30pm Monday through Friday.

We Love Our Teachers

The PTA voted on January 7 that all funds made in our EAT OUT NIGHTS will be granted to the teachers at Midas Creek Elementary. We are so excited to show our teachers our support. Thank you for teaching and helping our students become better people, leaders and learners for life.

Well Done Midas Creek Faculty!

Our next EAT OUT NIGHT is Tuesday January 13 at the Chick-fil-A in the District. No Flyer needed just eat with your family between 5-7 pm and 10% of all the proceeds Chick-fil-A makes in that 2 hours will go to our Midas Creek Teachers.
